The result of the blood pressure reading at the doctor’s office is very important. The reading is recorded and if it is abnormal, a form of treatment is discussede, based on this one reading yet the way the doctor’s assistant take the blood pressure reading if improper could produce an incorrect reading. Some take it with arms down, some with arms extended, and others with the patient standing up. Each produced varying results. Isn’t it the correct way to have the arm patient sitting with the arm the same level as the heart?

I am trying to learn palm reading but the books I have read are very complex and it would take a LONG time to memorize what all the lines mean. Does anyone know of any books that are easy to read and comprehend? Thank you!

But I make a mistake, take incorrect ones when I choose an answer in four options. I am planning to take FCE exam. Do you have any advices for me?

I am in 7th grade and i am tutoring a sixth grader in Reading and Writing! He tends to slack off and not pay attention, he also needs constant help on the reading/writing activity’s! Since we are in 3rd quarter now, were starting new stuff in reading/writing! What are some activity’s should i do to help this kid!? Any tips?

It’s not that I am not really into reading. As a matter of fact, i enjoy reading paperbacks done by Steel, Sheldon and Grisham. I also like reading fashion magazines or any magazines with lots of different informations. But I noticed that I find it difficult to finish reading materials related to my job (I am an Information Analyst in a Electricity Industry), and those that are related to my studies (I am taking Master in Educational Management). I realized that perhaps something is wrong with my reading habit, and I would really appreciate if you could give some answers to end my dilemma.

My (just turned) 11 year old daughter, does well in school, knows how to read, but hates to read. We try so hard to make it more fun for her, but nothing has worked so far. We know that eventually she will learn to like reading, but in the meantime, does anyone know any books that are age appropriate, but an easier read? Thanks.

If you spend a lot of time on the internet, reading articles, information, etc, is that still considered reading? Say you read a lot of random things, and learn a lot from them, can you still say you read a lot, or does it have to be from a book? I know that I never sit down and actually open a book and read, but I do find myself reading new things about the current world, history, science, etc, every day.

I’m interseted in learning about how to create good places for children to read at home and, ways to encurage reading at home. Are there certain enviroments or factors that might make reading easier? I want the children to be intrested in reading on their own. How have you done it or how would you have done it in a perfect senierio.

How to read electric meter at my house?
I live in Long Beach, CA and the meter at my house gives me reading of how much electricity we actually use. As of this morning:
The original reading was 17736. Now reads 17820. Unit is KWH.
Does it mean that I’ve used 84 KWH so far? Or there are some other method to calcuate?
