Is Reading Information On The Internet Still Considered Reading?

If you spend a lot of time on the internet, reading articles, information, etc, is that still considered reading? Say you read a lot of random things, and learn a lot from them, can you still say you read a lot, or does it have to be from a book? I know that I never sit down and actually open a book and read, but I do find myself reading new things about the current world, history, science, etc, every day.

Yes, it definitely counts as reading. I read a lot of things on the internet, too. You can really learn a lot, as long as the websites you read from are reliable.

Anything that involves words is considered reading. That is my opinion and I’m involved with education.
