What Should The Battery Dashboard Reading Be On My 97 Dodge Dakota When I Put The Key In?
it shows 8 as red and 14 in the middle and 18 on the high side red. right now it shows around 12 and I know reading that on a voltmeter is low but I wasn’t sure if it was the same reading.
it should show around 12-14 volts before you try to start it if the battery is any good,and while its running anything above 12.5 volts is good,it should show more than that though around 14-16 would be good,good luck with it.
